Baby Activity Journal Guide

✨ How to Fill Your Activity Journal

What is this journal?

Think of it as a bonding journal or a baby bucket list! It’s here to help you build memories with your baby, not away from them.

This journal is perfect for parents who prefer doing over writing. Each page has a short prompt explaining the activity, and space to stick a photo (or a few) of you doing it together. That’s it.

We know that:

  • Not everyone enjoys journaling ✍️
  • Some parents want memory keeping to involve their baby, not just be about them
  • Life is busy, but moments still deserve to be remembered

That’s why every activity in this journal is intentionally short, playful, and rooted in research-backed ideas for healthy development and bonding.

The best part? It doesn’t feel like a task, it feels like time well spent.

How to Use It

  • Flip to any page that calls to you, there’s no set order
  • Snap a photo while doing it, print it later, and stick it on
  • Tick it off on the bucket list page when you’re ready ✅

No rules, just rhythm. Do what fits your life and your baby’s personality.

Most importantly…

There’s no time limit, no expectations. You don’t have to capture the first time or do every single page. Just enjoy it at your own pace, and let the memories unfold naturally.

FAQs

What are the little labels on the top of each page? 🏷️

They show which developmental milestone the activity supports, just a little insight into the “why” behind the fun.

Do I need to follow the journal in order? 🔀

Not at all. We’ve arranged the pages loosely from younger baby to older baby, but most activities can be done anytime. Feel free to jump around.

For drawing activities, can my baby draw directly on the page or should I paste it in? 🎨

We recommend pasting it in. That way, your baby can go wild with their masterpiece without needing to stay within the lines. It takes the pressure off you to keep things neat, and keeps the joy (and mess) where it belongs.
